Elephant A: (Boat
1hr / Elephant 30min / Walk 3-3.5hrs)
This is a trip for people, who wants to experience a boat trip,
an elephant trip, trekking in one day. An elephant ride in Chiang
Rai is not just walking around within a Camp, but cross the
river, looking down at houses of Karen Tribes, walk through
banana villages. You can also take hot spring (slight smell
of sulphur) and relax/refresh. You can take water shower from
cascade after two hours mountain hike as well. If you still
want to walk around, you can extend your trip to villages of
Shan tribe and Lisu tribe where they are filled with tea garden.
Elephant B: (Boat
1hr / Elephant 2hr / Walk 1-1.5hrs)
From an elephant camp located 500m above the sea level to the
village of Lahu 700 m above the sea level, we will spend about
two hours to ride on the elephant and cross three mountains
as well as rivers. On the way, we will look over rise terrace
(made of rise) on the left and banana bush on the right. You
can also enjoy handling an elephant in the mountains since an
elephant handler from the Lahu tribe can instruct you well.
As you might guess, there is no facility such as electricity
or water and sewerage in the village, which leads you to experience
as the village used to be like a long time ago. You can also
enjoy forest bathing, walking down the mountains and refreshing
in cascade. Slow life (time) you can enjoy. You might be able
to also enjoy lunch at the Lahu village if you leave early (our
guide will cook it for you.).
ElephantC: (Boat 1hr / Elephant 1.5hr/ Walk 15-20min)
There is also another trekking that we uses a boat to go up
to an elephant camp through the Kok river and ride on the elephant.
When you ride on it, you will have a completely different view,
up from 3 meters above the ground level. This elephant ride
takes one hour and a half in untouched northern Thai mountains
and we will reach the village of the Yao tribe. In addition,
we will stop by the village of the Akha tribe and take a glimpse
of two different types of Hilltribe lives. This is good for
people who like to experience trekking but not so confident
of mountain walking.
